1. Different composition
1. Epoxy resin: polycondensation product of epichlorohydrin and bisphenol A or polyol.
2. Polyester: the general term for polymers obtained by polycondensation of polyols and polyacids. Mainly refers to polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which customarily also includes linear thermoplastic resins such as polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyacrylate.
Two, different application areas
1. Epoxy resin: Epoxy resin is mainly used in the coating industry and electronic industry. Epoxy for composite molding (mainly used in printed circuit boards in the electronics industry) accounts for a quarter.
2. Polyester: PET can be processed into fibers, films and plastic products. Polyester fiber is an important variety of synthetic fiber, mainly used for wearing. The thickness of the film is generally between 4 and 400 μm. It has high strength, good dimensional stability, and good chemical and dielectric properties. It is used as a support and is widely used in the production of various magnetic tapes and magnetic cards.
